Lead in blood is not a new issue for residents & workers in and around Port Pirie.

The Solution

The good news is that high blood lead levels in children is reversible. How?

At least 95% of children 0-4 years, in the Port Pirie community, with a blood lead level of less than 10µg/dL by the end of 2010.
